Welcome to Bridgwater Amateur Swimming Club

Now that lockdown 2.0 has ended, the club has returned to training both at 1610 Trinity Sports & Leisure and at Quantock Lodge. We can’t thank our pool operators enough for making this happen for us and we look forward to continuing the clubs excellent progress.

If you want to join BASC then please click here to go to our ‘New Swimmer Enquiry Form’.

During the 1st lockdown some of our fabulous swimmers took part in a fun video. Please enjoy watching some of the great team spirit that exists at our lovely club.

We are a competitive but friendly swimming club. Run by a voluntary committee (click here to see our committee), we are a not-for-profit club and have been providing aquatic sports to the community since 1894, 2019 being our 125th anniversary. We swim at Trinity Sports and Leisure on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at Quantock Lodge on Wednesday’s, sessions are led by our professional head and deputy head coaches. Members of the committee are available (when COVID tiers allow) on Fridays from 6.00-8.00pm at Trinity Sports and Leisure if you would like to pop along for a chat about the club and find out what we offer! New members are always very welcome.

If you would like to get in touch with us please CLICK HERE or email us at bridgwaterswim@gmail.com
